Celebrate the (mostly) halfway to Life Day with the A Disturbance in the Force Virtual Watch Party. Join us Wednesday, June 26th in Meetup Room 1 for the documentary about the making of the Star Wars Holiday Special.
Directed by Jeremy Coon and Steve Kozak, it looks at the production of the special and its perception within the fandom. It includes interviews with cast and crew like Bruce Vilanch, Steve Binder, Bob Mackie, and Miki Herman. Other interviews include Seth Green, Kevin Smith, Paul Scheer, Donny Osmond, “Weird Al” Yankovic, and many more.
The film loosely documents the making of the Holiday Special and looks at how fans have reacted in the forty-plus years since it first aired. Here is the promotional description of the movie:
