SUMMARY:Ahsoka Tano Day at Batuu East
DESCRIPTION:Join us Sunday\, January 29th for our Coast-to-Coast Ahsoka Tano Day celebration! Batuu East\, we’re celebrating in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge inside Disney’s Hollywood Studios! \nWe will tentatively meet at 8:45 PM Eastern in the courtyard by TIE Echelon and will take photos at or around 9:00 PM. Once the Smuggler’s Run queue is clear\, we will move to the Millennium Falcon for additional photos. Depending on crowd levels\, this could be anywhere from 9:10 to 9:20 PM. \nPlease follow instructions from all SWGEDiscord volunteers and Disney Parks cast members. Our volunteers will help line you up at each location\, give instructions on different photo poses\, and provide crowd control for both sabers and spectators. Look for volunteers wearing SWGEDiscord shirts\, buttons\, and other official identification. \nWe strongly encourage Ahsoka Tano bounds\, Batuu bounds\, and any other Star Wars-related attire that meet the Disney Parks restrictions on costuming. All lightsabers are welcome as long as they are not actual weapons. Per Disney Parks requirements\, blasters are not allowed. \nThis lightsaber meetup is completely free but does require valid admission and park reservations. \nHere are a few reminders specific to this meetup: \n\nLightsaber dueling is strictly prohibited\, and we will ask guests to leave.\nMeet in the TIE courtyard at 8:45 PM Eastern\nTake photos in front of the TIE Echelon at approximately 9:00 PM Eastern\nParade to the Millenium Falcon approximately between 9:10 and 9:20 PM Eastern\nTake photos in front of the Millennium Falcon\nPhotos will last approximately 30 to 60 minutes.\nDepending on how many beings come\, we may break into smaller groups.\nSWGEDiscord volunteers will be wearing glow bracelets and SWGEDiscord buttons if you have questions.\nAs always\, please be kind and respectful of both Disney cast members and SWGEDiscord volunteers.\nIf you see something or feel uncomfortable\, please talk to a SWGEDiscord volunteer.\n\nIf this is your first lightsaber meetup\, here is what you can expect in terms of the photos: \n\nPhotos take place just after the park closes and usually last 30 to 60 minutes.\nWe will have SWGEDiscord photographers at both photo locations.\nDisney’s Photopass photographers may also be available.\nWe kindly ask that you wait until both SWGEDiscord and Disney’s Photopass photographers are done before taking photos. Join us for photos at two very special locations: the giant Christmas tree at Echo Lake and the AT-AT outside Star Tours! \nWe will tentatively meet at 8:45 PM Eastern between Backlot Express and Star Tours. At or around 9:00 PM\, we will take photos in front of the AT-AT in front of Star Tours. Afterward\, we will move to the Christmas tree at Echo Lake.
